GREAT BEER QUEST AWARD WINNER: BEST STOUT

The last of our best of style awards, this is the big boy. Many of the most bold, bruising, flavor-packed beers we’ve had all year were stouts, including three perfect scores. Every single nominee has a score of 9.5 higher and belongs in our top 10 beers of the year list. Stouts are known for huge coffee and dark chocolate flavor, often infused with vanilla, honey, and bourbon from barrel aging. It’s my favorite style of beer, and the excellent nominees reflect why.
